Family Life Ministry

At Chilson Hills we recognize the myriad of problems that are being experienced in families across our nation. Through our Family Life Ministry we are making a conscious effort to honor and uphold family life.

In 2008, we held four different events aimed at strengthening families.
  • We had a Valentine's Day Renewal of the Wedding Vows service with 38 couples renewing their vows.
  • We enjoyed a Family Camping Trip at Bishop Lake where adults and children played together.
  • We also had a good group who went to a Canoe Trip together.
  • And we held a Marriage Retreat Weekend with 15 couples participating.
At Chilson, we believe that a healthy marriage produces healthy families and healthy families make a healthy church and healthy churches and healthy families go a long way toward making a healthy community.

We are looking forward to planning more events.
